I'd love to share a development update about our next product - the Embraer Lineage 1000. The Embraer Lineage 1000 is a $50M "ultra-large" business jet variant of the Embraer 190 regional jet airliner. So not only will it include all the automated systems that make flying the E-Jets extremely enjoyable, it will also have a range of 8500km, so you'll finally be able to fly from London to NYC or Dubai, while taking a nap in a super cozy king-sized bed, or chill at the sofa with some incredible views of the sky!
How far along are we?
I'm currently finishing texturing the cabin, and our next steps will include animations of the window blinds, cabin doors, and all tables, customizable lighting throughout the cabin, a custom fuel system with additional tanks, and some cool additions to the EFB!
The interior will include different zones, all with ultra-high-resolution materials (while optimizing performance), made possible by leveraging the latest innovations in X-Plane 12. It has seating for 14 passengers, 2 additional sofas, and a separate bedroom with a double bed. Plus I optimized the cabin for an easy adaptation to different liveries/materials, as each one of the Lineage jets is unique! (Livery painters, get ready!)
How accurate is the cabin?
I was extremely lucky to get access to this incredible jet, so I can confidently say that the interior is as accurate as it gets, from the precise dimensions of all the zones and furniture to the softness of the pillows! Btw the crew on the jet I visited was really confused when I was running around with my camera and taking photos of every door knob or spotlight in the cabin! 😅
Additionally, the Lineage will include foldable air stairs, allowing your passengers to disembark even at smaller airports. Modeling the stairs was by far the most complicated model I've ever had to create, but it is so satisfying seeing how they fold perfectly into the main door and are stowed away in the galley. 👌🏽
When will the Lineage be available?
Let me break my rule of not announcing any ETAs, but if all goes well, it shouldn't take more than a couple of months! I really hope it won't take more than that, because I'll become a father early next year so I'm racing nature here 😅
The Lineage 1000 by X-Crafts will be available for X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 11, for all operating platforms. It will be available as a separate purchase, but it will also become part of the full E-Jets Family. Previous customers of the Full E-Jets Family by X-Crafts will receive the Lineage for FREE.
Customers of any of the individual E-Jets can always upgrade to the full family for only $67.45, and receive ALL the E-Jets, including the Lineage 1000.
